What a notice should include
- Your signature, contact details and authority to act.
- Identification of the copyrighted work.
- The address or identifier of the disputed material.
- A good-faith statement that the use is unauthorised.
- A statement that your information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised representative, made under penalty of perjury where required.
Send a notice
Send the information through Contact and identify it as a copyright notice. Incomplete information may require clarification before we can locate and review the material.
Responses and counter-notices
We review notices and may restrict access to disputed material. If you believe a removal was mistaken, contact us about a counter-notice and the information required under the applicable process. Do not submit a claim you know is false. A likeness or privacy concern can instead follow our removal procedure.
